People with Complex Health Needs

Many individuals who deal with learning disabilities or autism have additional needs or a secondary mental health condition. Such conditions, if managed properly, are not life-limiting. Challenging behaviours are often displayed when the individual is not in good health.

People in Assessment & Treatment Units

Difficulties faced in the ATUs due to transformed care agendas, can prove how hard it can be for an individual to leave. To support such individuals - planning is crucial. It is essential for us as a provider to understand the individual, which is essentially what our person-centred care consists of. It often works best when the provider is involved in the early stages, even before a plan of discharge has been made.
